Picasso sculpture
“We made a detour to see the Picasso sculpture. For our group of four people Kristinehamn as an unknown chapter. The car journey from the centre to the Picasso sculpture was a real highlight. What a fantastically beautiful Vänern bay with so many lovely residential areas!” If you don’t have use of a car you can travel by electric bike, tandem bike or ordinary bike. For your convenience a coach service operates every weekday from the railway station at 18.35 and 20.00 to the sculpture. Island hopping on Lake Vänern
Go island hopping in the Lake Vänern archipelago in Värmland! The trolls Sotlugg and Linlugg, the chapel with handpainted church windows and a number of Karin’s own paintings are on show. Karin Fryxell’s niece Ann-Mari Appelberg and her family are the current owners and caretakers of Klinten.
